Despite the extraordinary years that we endured during the COVID-19 pandemic, Friends of Historic Saugerties remains committed to the importance of making local history accessible to the community through educational initiatives which include shared inquiry, exploration of resources, and programs for learning and discovery.
From February 2015 through March 2020 we created 57 monthly talks on a variety of historical topics by generous and knowledgeable presenters.
We are grateful to our interesting and interested audiences who faithfully attended our lecture series in the Community Room of the Saugerties Public Library and to the Library for their generous support of our initiative.
We offer these presentations so we may stay connected and invigorated by new historic learnings.
This flyer provides all the information about our current presentation. Please feel free to leisurely roam through the website for more information.
